Cyrel flexible plate making process

Traditional plate-making process (using negative film)

1. Expose the back of the printing plate with a light source in the ultraviolet A area (back exposure) to form the base of the printing plate and improve the sensitivity of the printing plate. The length of the back exposure depends on the depth of the plate image.
2. Remove the protective film on the front of the printing plate, put a negative film, cover the vacuum film, and evacuate. After the vacuum is drawn, the exposure (main exposure) is performed. The purpose of the main exposure is to transfer the graphics on the film to the printing plate. The length of the main exposure depends on the situation of the text and the thickness of the printing plate. The negative film should be sanded on one side.
3. Send the exposed printing plate to the plate washing machine, so as to wash off the resin of the exposed part of the printing plate to form a concave-convex printing surface (plate washing).
4. Dry (dry) the washed plate.
5. Irradiate the printing plate with a light source in the ultraviolet C area to remove the stickiness (desticking) of the surface of the printing plate.
6. Finally, irradiate the printing plate with the ultraviolet A zone light source to achieve the final hardness of the printing plate (post-exposure).

Digital plate making process (without film)

1. Expose the back of the printing plate with a light source in the ultraviolet A area (back exposure) to form the substrate of the printing plate and improve the sensitivity of the printing plate. The length of the back exposure depends on the depth of the printing plate.
2. Remove the protective film on the front of the printing plate and install the printing plate on the vacuum cylinder of the Cyrel digital imaging device. The data in the pre-press image processing system controls the laser head of the digital imaging device and burns the Cyrel digital flexo On the black film, part of the desired image is exposed, and then the main exposure is performed without using negative film. No need to evacuate.
3. Send the exposed printing plate to the plate washing machine, in order to wash off the resin on the unexposed part of the printing plate, and form a concave-convex printing surface (plate washing).
4. Dry (dry) the washed plate.
5. Irradiate the printing plate with a light source in the ultraviolet C area to remove the stickiness (desticking) of the surface of the printing plate.
